Solarwind, located in the heart of the Ecopark Windhof, has become the backbone of sustainable building in Luxembourg. The building uses, for the very first time in the world a triple environmental certification. It meets the highest standards in sustainable development and eco-citizenship and makes the main contribution of renewable energy sources: biomass, solar, wind, geothermal and water.
With a floor space of 10,000 m², Solarwind extends over 4 floors above ground to house offices and a multi-function roof terrace. In addition, the building has a ground garden incorporating various service functions including a wellness center and a restaurant and lounge.

Choice of the envelope (design, orientation, materials and sealing).
Study of all renewable energy in the context of a neutral building CO2 emissions: Urban wind turbines, photovoltaic and thermal solar panels, pellet boiler (wood), geothermal, buying green electricity.
Sustainable management of the water cycle: reduction of consumption and collection of rainwater for use (adiabatic cooling, water for health), maintaining retention capacity of the soil.
Recovery of waste (zero garbage concept and workflow management).
Construction reflected by man and for man.
A place where work and well-being coexist harmoniously
The first (administrative) function is accompanied by facing the well-being and comfort of the tenants services.
The open interior design, the spacious and welcoming and spaces exchanges facilitate communication between people meetings.
The introduction of innovative technologies does not affect human comfort. Efficient dynamic thermal simulation tools are used to optimize interior comfort. Everything has been designed to make life easier for users on a daily basis.
